MEMORIES AND DREAMS Wool warp, hand-dyed wool weft 25 by 40 inches, $1,000   In this weaving I was drawn (yet again) to the challenge of weaving a circle in this pixilated, right angle medium of weaving. This detail view shows how the curve of the circle is achieved by altering the widths of the narrow darker stripes in the background. The golden yellow of the circle actually continues across the background in two-row stripes alternating with the darker stripes. BACK
